Droplet cannot find my controller
- Your iPhone and the controller must be on the same Wi-Fi network (not a guest network).
- Allow Droplet to use the Local Network in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network.
- Make sure the LNK module light is solid green. If it blinks, set it up again with its own instructions first.
- Still stuck? Add the controller by its IP address from your router's device list.
Which controllers work?
Rain Bird controllers with an LNK Wi-Fi module. The ESP-ME3 is fully verified. Other LNK models (ESP-Me, ESP-Me2, ESP-TM2, ESP-RZXe, ST8x-WiFi) connect for zone control, rain skips, and live status. The newer LNK2 module and Rain Bird 2.0 app move controllers to a cloud-only mode that Droplet cannot reach.
No compatible controller? Droplet still coaches you: it tells you what to set on any timer, zone by zone.
Why did Droplet skip watering?
Droplet skips when rain has already soaked the soil, when enough rain is forecast, or when freezing or strong wind is expected. Tap the reason on the Home screen to see the details.
Purchases
Droplet Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple. To restore it on a new phone, open Settings in Droplet and tap Restore Purchases. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Delete my data
Everything lives on your phone. Open Settings in Droplet and tap Start over, or delete the app.
